The Crowborough & District Veterans Association exists to provide companionship and activities to members of the veteran and emergency services community in the Crowborough area. We are a relaxed and friendly group who are always looking for new members.

The organisation consists of around 50 members who meet monthly at the Crowborough Social Club. In addition we host a monthly coffee morning.

We work with the local council and other bodies to arrange remembrance events in the town and surrounding area.

Our membership is open to all

We're a welcoming organisation, and offer membership and opportunities in the following categories.

Veterans

Our veteran members range from those in their 90s who completed national service or served in the merchant navy to more recent service personnel and Cadet Forces Adult Volunteers.

All have given their time to serve the country and enjoy spending time with like minded individuals exchanging banter.

Emergency Services

Emergency Service personnel provide vital support in their local communities, often experiencing horrific situations.

Our environment provides them with support and people to talk to who understand the pressure of public service, helping to make the bad days at work a little easier to manage.

Supporters

You don't have to have served in the Armed Forces or Emergency Services to be a member.

We welcome those who wish to support those who have served, or who are looking for friends and fun in the local community.

Your support can make a vital difference, so why not join us for a beer each month?

Sponsors

Our work is costly, and we cover many of our costs through local fund raising activities and the time kindly given by members, however we are always interesting in talking to local businesses and organisations who may wish to make a donation towards our work.

You can explore membership options here. Our annual fee is only £20 (with no joining fee) making the organisation affordable for all.
